Quick Facts
Embark on one of the world’s most legendary trekking journeys — the K2 Base Camp and Concordia Trek. This adventure takes you deep into Pakistan’s Karakoram Range, across the Baltoro Glacier, and to the foot of K2 (8,611 m). Known as the “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods,” Concordia (4,691 m) offers a panoramic view of K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II, and countless other peaks.
Trek Overview
The K2 Concordia Trek is regarded as one of the greatest mountain journeys in the world. Starting in Islamabad, the route continues to Skardu, the gateway to Baltistan. From there, a jeep ride leads to Askole, where the trek begins.
The route follows the Braldu River before ascending the Baltoro Glacier. Camps at Paiju, Urdukas, and Goro allow for acclimatization and breathtaking mountain views. The climax is reaching Concordia, a natural amphitheater where K2, Broad Peak, and the Gasherbrums dominate the horizon. From here, trekkers make the unforgettable excursion to K2 Base Camp (5,150 m).
The return journey retraces the Baltoro back to Askole and then to Skardu, concluding one of the most spectacular treks on earth.
